The ideal candidate for People in Science should have:

• HLO Biotechnologie;
• Uitgebreide ervaring met celkweekprocessen, zowel perfusie als fed-batch;
• Goede rapportagevaardigheid (in het Engels);
• Kan goed werken in teamverband, proactief, enthousiast en neemt initiatief;
• Ervaring met GMP richtlijnen en werken in GMP ruimte's;
• Flexibele instelling ivm wisselende werkzaamheden/projecten;
• Ervaring met statistiek (interpretatie DoE);
• Percentage in dienst 100.

• Troubleshooting en continu verbeteringsactiviteiten voor de reguliere celkweekproductieprocessen, zoveel mogelijk gebruik makend van Design of Experiments (DoE);
• Binnen bovenstaand kader naar eigen inzicht en initiatief uitvoeren van alle voorkomende experimenten en laboratoriumwerkzaamheden zoals, celkweek perfusie en/of fedbatch processen en in-process analyses (BGA, YSI, CEDEX, etc.);
• Vaktechnische aansturing van medewerkers;
• Zelfstandig verzorgen van benodigde documentatie en wetenschappelijke rapportage van onderzoeksresultaten;
• De werkzaamheden worden projectmatig en in teamverabdn uitgevoerd.

USP and DSP Process Lead Biotech

The Center of Excellence Biotech Technical Operations gives technical support, process support - troubleshooting and continuous improvement - to the local Biotech upstream and downstream Integrated Process Teams (operations), is involved by process fit / introduction of new processes in the production facilities and cooperates with other technical groups in the global network.

You will lead a team that is dedicated to an upstream or downstream Integrated Process Team within Biotech for 2nd line trouble shooting and process improvement projects. You are a member of a local multidisciplinary product team. An academic level/PhD with 5 years experience in biologics manufacturing. Strong scientific, project & people management skills. Passion for lean/continuous improvement.
