QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: BSc in Chemistry, Engineering (B.S.E.), electronics and/or related field from a technical college or university; or related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred. Preferably over four years of experience in a similar position in a B2B environment. Prior experience in service management preferred. Prior training experience desirable.
Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of warranties and contract management.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, knowledge of other languages like French and German is preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations. Ability to understand financial income statements.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage. Must have knowledge of company’s full product range. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in IFS or other Oracle based ERP (preferred). Individual should possess advanced skills in MS Excel and be proficient in MS Word and Powerpoint.

SUMMARY:
- Manage the regional service organization EMEAI.
- Manage and analyze the service revenue and gross margin.
- Manage and analyze the service forecast and service backlog.
- Reports the department performances to the Comany leadership team.
- Develop and monitor department goals and strategies.
- Develop and initiate plans to grow the Service business.
- Is first responsible for the customer satisfaction program and key account contacts.
- Is the first contact for other segments for strategic or global actions.
ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
- Is responsible for the respective Service business of the Service departments in Lauda (Germany), Verson (France) and Rotterdam.
- Coordinate, work and critique all Service Management in order to provide positive feedback, improve management’s quality of performance and evaluate management’s progression.
- Evaluate and take action on the department metrics on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Create, document and initiate process improvements.
- Participate in sales, distributors and customers meetings.
- Work closely together with The cmpnies" Sales, Production, Product Management and Engineering on process improvements.
- Perform Quarterly Job Performance Reviews.
- Analyze and report weekly forecast, revenue and backlog.
- Analyze and report monthly revenue and gross margin.
- Analyze and report monthly the warranty and goodwill cost.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP: Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including Health and Safety, Investors in People, Sarbanes Oxley, Quality Standards, Environmental Policy, and Ethics Policy. SITE SPECIFIC: International: Must be eligible and able to obtain work visa or work permit in country/site of field assignment(s); valid international driver’s license preferred. Extensive domestic and international travel (60%) is required. Customer focused. |
